Takahashi Shotei (born Takahashi Hiroaki) was a Japanese 
woodblock artist, representative of the Shin-hanga art movement.
Shotei received his pseudonym from his uncle, Matsumoto Fuko,
under whose tutelage he studied.
His works are in the collections of many museums around the
world, including the British Museum, the Honolulu Museum 
of Art, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Brunnier Art 
Museum, the Saint Louis Art Museum and others.
