Giuseppe Arcimboldo was an Italian painter and 
decorator known for his depictions of anthropomorphic 
portraits composed entirely of objects such as fruits, 
vegetables, flowers, etc.
His father was also a painter, Giuseppe helped him from 
a young age to create church murals and made sketches 
for tapestries and stained glass windows.
