Edvard Munch was a Norwegian painter, graphic artist and postmodernist. 
He was one of the first representatives of Expressionism.
There are several hundred paintings in Munch's work, the most famous of 
which "The Scream" has four copies painted between 1893 and 1910. In 
2012, a version of the 1895 painting "The Scream" was sold to a private 
collection for $119.9 million.
